Front-man Jarvis Cocker thanked the crowd for their attendance and support, saying it was “inspirational” to play an event with such a warm welcome.

Coming back after years apart, the band seemed tighter than ever, delivering classics such as ‘Sorted For E’s and Wizz’ and ‘Disco 2000’.

‘Common People’ was the special song everyone had been waiting for. Cocker belted it out and received an equally brilliant sing-a-long from the crowd.

After the band had left the stage, Pulp fan Sarah Markbride said “I came from the US as Pulp and Suede were playing...am so glad I got to see my favourite two bands.”
