Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon bring The Trip to Latitude
Film and Music Arena sees Q&A with Coogan, Brydon and Curtis

Kai Jones - 15 July 2011
Richard Curtis was speaking to Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan
about their work on the BBC comedy, 'The Trip'. And the Q&A was a continuation of the self-depreciating banter
of the acclaimed series; Brydon playing on his affable reputation, while Coogan teased as
the more successful part of their relationship.
The session took in the making of ‘The Trip’,
the actors' previous film with Michael Winterbottom, ‘Cock and Bull Story’, ‘Alan
Partridge’ and ‘Gavin & Stacey’. With Curtis introducing clips from
‘The Trip’, Brydon and Coogan attempted to outdo each other with impressions
of Roger Moore and Christopher Lee in ‘The Man With The Golden Gun’.
Before Brydon delivered a hilarious, minimal take on Coogan, his partner said dryly, "Rob does one of
me. I've never bothered to learn to do him."
