The New Yorkers smash their way through ‘New York City Cops’, ‘Reptilia’ and their signature track ‘Last Nite’ just three songs in.

Julian Casablancas prompted the crowd screaming: "Are you all ready to fucking party?"

And T In The Park 2011 duly oblige, singing along to ‘Hard to Explain’ and ‘Soma’ from debut album ‘Is This It’.

Andrew Neville, who travelled to Scotland from Australia, said: "To think The Strokes headlined a few years ago is crazy. They delivered once more and hopefully this is them back to their best."
