The London rapper-turned-soul star eased into his set with chart toppers including 'The Recluse' and 'Prayin'
before ramping up the tempo with a cover which had the Scottish masses lapping up his charm.
"Have you
guys heard of a geezer called Paolo Nutini", goaded Ben Drew, before treating the crowd to his upbeat
take of 'Coming Up Easy'.
A medley of 'My Girl', 'Stand By Me' - complete with a dub
step remix - and 'Forgot About Dre' had T in raptures before Chase & Status classic 'Pieces'
had mosh pits opening up.
But it was a pitch perfect rendition of 'Stay Too Long' which capped a
blinding set by the soul soprano.
Barrhead teenager Laura Stewart said: "It was a quality set which started
brilliantly and just kept getting better and better."
