Cinema tent added to Green Man 2011 line up
Organisers announce films and further entertainment

There'll be late-night screenings of “Optimum Classics” including Apocalypse Now, The Man Who Fell
To Earth and Source Code, while The North Sea Orchestra will perform Vernon
Elliot's music from Smallfilms Productions' classic kids TV shows The Clangers, Ivor The
Engine and Bagpuss.
Blue Roses will perform a live musical accompaniment
to silent horror film Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde, with an "interactive sing-a-long" screening of The
Wicker Man also promised.
The tent will also see the UK premiere of "Consumed - Inside The Belly
Of The Beast", a new documentary about "modern consumerist culture", while 7 Inch Cinema will bring
"DJs, a video disco and a selection of shorts and archive clips."
Cardiff arts collective In Chapters
will present four hours of film, music videos and live music, incorporating ex-Gorky's Zygotic Mynci bassist
Richard James' new album launch.
Efterklang's film The Island
will also feature, alongside live audio/visual performances from Emily Barker, The Real Tuesday Weld and
film composer Harry Escott.
Green Man Festival 2011 takes place at Glanusk Park, Brecon Beacons from 19-21
August.
Fleet Foxes, Explosions In The Sky, Iron & Wine and Laura Marling
are among the musical acts set to play the event.
