Dane Cobain on 03 July 2011

The star played a hit-filled set in Kent including a performance with Larry Graham, who'd performed earlier in the day.

Touching on 'Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough' and 'Come Together', he also performed 'Purple Rain', 'Nothing Compares 2 U', 'You Don't Have to be Rich' and 'To Make You Feel My Love'.

During one encore, Prince joked: "Do you know how many hits we've got? We'd be here until next year!"

As the massive audience waved mobile phones, glow sticks and lighters in the air, fan Linda Brookbanks said of 'To Make You Feel My Love': "That was so good, one of the best things I've ever heard."
