New names for the Alternative Stage

Reading adds Stephen Williams on Friday (26 August), Rob Rouse and Daniel Sloss
on Saturday (27 August), and Wrigglesworth and Dizraeli,
along with the Beastie Boys' film 'Fight for
Your Right Revisited' on Sunday (28 August).
A collaboration between Future
Cinema and Guillemots will start things off in Leeds on Thursday (25 August),
while new Friday additions for Leeds are Future Disco, Tom Wrigglesworth, Dizraeli,
Rob Rouse, Mike Bubbins, Nirvana's 'Live At
Reading '92' film, and Seamus Murphy's series of short films inspired by PJ Harvey's latest album 'Let England Shake'.
Danny McLoughlin
and Dead Cat Bounce are new for Leeds' Alternative Stage on Saturday, along
with Transgressive's five year anniversary party, festuring live sets by Johnny Flynn and the Sussex Wit, Dry the River and Pete
and the Pirates, plus the Beastie Boys
film.
Roisin Conaty, Abandoman, Jimmy McGhie and Gar Murran are new for Leeds
on Sunday.
Henry Rollins, Lee Nelson, Tim Minchin and Russell Kane (Leeds only) headline the Alternative Stage this year, with
My Chemical Romance, The Strokes, Pulp and Muse
topping the bill on the main stage.
Reading Festival 2011 takes place at Richfield Avenue, Reading, while Leeds Festival 2011 at Bramham Park, Leeds, with both running from
26 - 28 August.
