British indie dominated day two at Hurricane Festival 2011 in Germany with Friendly Fires, Brother, Two Door Cinema Club and British Sea Power getting fans jumping in a sun soaked Scheesel.

It wasn’t all good news for English artists however as UK newcomers The Vaccines arrived late after a delayed flight and missed their slot and Kasabian struggled against frustratingly weak sound on the Blue Stage.

Bright Eyes, Kaiser Chiefs and Incubus are due to close the Saturday of Hurricane Festival 2011.
