Grunwald has just finished on the main stage, playing a blues driven set including a cover of Son House's
‘John The Revelator’ and his own ‘I Don't Feel Right’ from the film ‘Limitless’.
Earlier, as the sun came out, Frankie And The Heartstrings won over the crowd with their perky indie-pop,
with the front rows clapping along to singles ‘That Postcard’, ‘Tender’ and ‘Hunger’,
as singer Frankie Francis playfully berated those at the back for sitting down.
There were also early sets from
Brother & Bones, Will & The People and Winterhours.
MS Dynamite, due to play on the main stage next, will now play the
Merlin's Forest tent at 10pm due to a delayed flight.
We
Are Scientists, Nero, Shy FX,
Sub Focus, Example
and headliners White Lies are all set to play the student
festival later on.
Beach Break Live 2011 continues over the weekend with shows from Magnetic Man and many more.
