Kicking off with 'Jenny Don't Be Hasty' and delivering a well received set which included ‘Candy’, ‘New Shoes’ and ‘10/10', Nutini was in a typically buoyant mood.

As usual, his thick Paisley brogue rendered him pretty much incomprehensible to us, unlike the crowd who rapturously received every word.

“I came especially to try and see Paolo in his wee daps” said Jill Williams from Chorlton, “I love him.”

The encore included a cover of MGMTs ‘Time to Pretend’.

As Nutini closes the main stage of the final night of Rockness, the fun continues elsewhere onsite with sets from both Derrick Carter and Jamie XX.
