Beady Eye, the darker hearted incarnation of Oasis,
growled and rocked with the typical smashed in the face delivery that only Liam Gallagher can offer.
It was a storming set, keeping the drenched Islanders in high spirits throughout.
The younger Gallagher
got huge cheers as he graced the stage donning a Union Jack jacket.
The cocky frontman questioned: "this is
being filmed in 3G yeah? I wonder what these fucking bambinos look like in 3G?", before giving his usual V salute.
The song 'The Roller' stuck out as the new sing-along favourite, while 'Four Letter Word' and 'Sons of the Stage'
receiving glorious ovations which should silence any critic.
Kasabian
will bring the Isle of Wight Festival 2011
to a close.
