Both 'A Guide To Love, Loss and Desperation' and 'This Modern Glitch' albums were well represented with tracks including 'Kill The Director', 'Let's Dance to Joy Division', 'Jump Into the Fog', 'Anti D' and latest single, 'Tehno Fan', pleasing fans.

Murphy dapperly dressed in a white suit jacket joked: "it's raining WKD", which was factually incorrect, but was nonetheless mildly amusing.

Earlier in the afternoon the Rockness crowds favoured the vocal theatrics of Beardyman over the emotive indie of The Boxer Rebellion, leaving the mainstage practically deserted.

RockNess Music Festival 2011 continues tonight (Sunday) with Paolo Nutini headlining.
