Staggering rifts along with synonymous moshing created the ultimate headline buzz, further confirming their place as one of the greatest bands of our time.

The refreshingly humble and non-egotistical Dave Grohl led the crowd through a journey of inspiring hits from their numerous platinum albums.

'Monkey Wrench', 'Learn to Fly' and 'Best of You' were all present and accounted for with a smattering of songs from their latest album 'Wasting Light'.

Jack from Hartlepool was summersaulted over the moon with the Foo's efforts and summed it up with a simple: "Can it get any better?"

He'd be hard pressed. It was a hell of a Saturday line up with a cherry bomb to finish.

Kasabian and Beady Eye will bring the Isle of Wight Festival 2011 to a close tomorrow (Sunday).
