Oozing Americana with dusty out of focus visuals, Caleb's powerful vocals rocked the docks which finished with a vibrant
display of fireworks.
With what was essentially a bare bones non-garnished set, the American super group plucked
songs that flowed like tender meats at a banquet without the over indulgence.
'Be Somebody' and 'On Call' were
narcotic-like anthems but 'Sex Is On Fire' was clearly the crowds drug of choice.
"We're having a real good
time up here, how about y'all?" Caleb asked during teh set which featured the likes of 'Knocked Up' too.
Well,
Jenny from Surbiton who's a first timer on the Island thought: "it's a night I'll never forget, I've seen them three times
now and they were on top form tonight. Amazing!"
Isle of Wight Festival 2011 continues tomorrow with shows from Foo Fighters, Pulp and more.
