The set was largely unchanged from their UK warm up shows, opening with a riotous ‘Club Foot’ and an encore that included new song ‘Switchblade Style’ and a fusion of Donna Summer’s ‘I Feel Love’ and their own ‘Stuntman’.

“I loved Primal Scream during XTRMNTR, and Switchblade Style feels like it’s shooting the boys off in that direction,” said Harry Ingham, 30, in the crowd.

Two Door Cinema Club, Brother, DJ Shadow and Katy B all appeared earlier in the day.

RockNess Music Festival 2011 continues tomorrow with sets from The Chemical Brothers and Example.

Kasabian played:
Where Did All The Love Go
Shoot The Runner
Cutt Off
Thick As Thieves
Take Aim
Fastfuse/Pulp Fiction
Switch Blade Smiles
Stuntman/I Feel Love
