Festival bans meat to appease Morrissey

Belgian festival has meat-free day for the famed vegetarian

Lokerse Feesten Festival in Belgium will only allow vegetarian catering on site for August 4th on the day Morrissey takes to the stage.

The singer abandoned his 2009 set at Coachella because he could "smell burning flesh," and quipped, "I hope to God it's human."

The ten day festival in Belgium is famous for horse-meat sausages and will serve meat dishes throughout the rest of the festival.

Morrissey plays Glastonbury Festival 2011 on 24th June and Hop Farm Music Festival 2011 on 2 July.
