Glastonbury 2011 reveal Shangri-La line up
Loads of acts to play late night arenas

With a pre-apocalyptic theme, the storyline this year is that this is the last party before blasting off to a new planet,
and this gets started on Thursday (23 June) at The Hub, with Le KKC Orchestra and
Wara heading the bill. The Worm, Latin Dub Soundsystem, Tako Lako, Sam and the Womp and Positive Focus All
Stars complete the day.
Friday (24 June) at The Hub will see Dead
Silence Syndicate, Rob da Bank, 10Sui, Rack N Ruin & P money, Nenneh Cherry, 2 Bears, The Boxettes, Mark Nunnery, Dead
Silence Syndicate, Bogus, Molotov Jukebox, Solution Sound, MC Base6 and a surprise guest all play.
11am until 11pm on Saturday 25 June will see Warrior One, Doorly, 2 Bears,
RackNruin & MC Wrec, Yoyo Soundsystem, Fonti & MC Bushkin, Klose One, MC Serocee, Man Like Me, Cherri V, Mr Verde
and Southern Fried Mobile Disco all perform.
True Tiger & P Money, Shy FX and The
Ragga Twins, Breakage (DJ
set) featuring Jess Mills and Youngman, Bad Press Brand and Astroid Boys will then take things to
5am.
The Hub will see sets on Sunday (26 June) from DJ Cameo, Wiley,
Sway, Jammer, Bushkin and Fonti, Baby Blue, Yoyo Soundsystem, The Heatwave, Iration Steppas, Reggae Roast with Kenny Knots
and Machine Heaven Ranger, up to 10pm.
Rounding off the festival until 4am
will be DJ Switch, with Doorly, Chrome Kids, Bobby Friction, and Solution Soundsystem featuring Lovegrocer
Roots and Sound System Culture ably supporting.
Meanwhile, Shangri-La's other venue,
Club Dada, will see Thursday action from DJ Dom Middleton, Base6, Cut A shine, Los Albertos, MaraSirato,
Sheelanagig, Tankus the Henge, Sonora Balkanaca and DJ Chris Tofu.
The New
Tropical Underground invades on Friday, with Cal Jader, Ruby And The Vines, Wara, Latin
Dub Soundsystem, Kalakuta Millionaires, Fur, and a second stint for Cal Jader with Arias
and Bobby Gandalf all set to feature.
Then, from 10:45, White
Mink's Electro Swing Speakeasy will bring you DJ Nick Hollywood, DJ Switch, Le KKC Orchestra, Movin Melvin
Brown, The Correspondents, Fat 45 and a Surprise Guest.
Saturday at
Club Dada will see Black Gold Buffalo, DJ Void and stella OBE, Deaf Rave, Heavy Load, The Band Of
Holy Joy and Captain Angelo play to 9pm.
From 9pm to 5am,
it's a night of French dance acts, as System Sseven, Debruit, Discodeine, Naïve New Beaters, Gringo De Parada,
Pony Pony Run Run and some "Superstar Guests" take to the stage.
Global Local
and Magpie's Nest host a folk showcase on Sunday afternoon, with performances from Stefano
Malaka and DJ Tofu, Kidnap Alice, Goodnight Lenin, Dogan Mehmet, Wagon Tales, Sam Lee & Friends and Cocos
Lovers.
Then from 9pm, Continental Drifts show off the best new eastern-influenced
music, with Rotfront, dubbed "the new Gogol Bordello", set to to make their UK debut there.
Sam and the Womp, Analogik, Tako Lako, Destroyers, Molotov Juke Box and Sonora Balkanica
will all also play.
Glastonbury
Festival 2011 is at Worthy Farm, Pilton from 22-26 June and is sold out. U2,
Coldplay and Beyonce will headline this year's festival.
