Films to make music to: Funeral Party speak

Band reveal that A Clockwork Orange helps them create songs

Daniel Fahey - 22 May 2011

Speaking to VF in a video interview that will be available later this week, the band also spoke about the pros and cons of the Internet.

Talking about their creative process, singer Chad Elliott said: "We definitely jam. We all write together and jam out. We try to make the practice space as comfortable for all of us as possible - we put on some visuals  so we have visuals stimulation like a projector showing a movie. We're kind of stoners in that way."

When asked what films they work to, they replied "Clockwork Orange," with Elliott adding: "horror films."

Bassist Kimo Kauhola also said the group liked to watch Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas as well.

Funeral Party also discussed the pressure of being signed, their new material and what will be the first thing they do when they finally get off tour.
