We've teamed up with last.fm to bring you a unmissable line-up at the 02 Academy 1 on
the festival's final day, Saturday 21 May.
One of our Ones To Watch for 2011,
Funeral Party, will head the bill, showing off their
rabble-rousing punk-funk, honed in riotous squat parties in the band's native California.
With the debut album
'Golden Age Of Knowhere' released, you can prepare for an early airing of surefire festival anthems like
'Just Because', 'NYC Moves To The Sound Of LA' and 'Finale'.
Joining them on
the bill will be rising UK emo/grunge quartet Lower Than Atlantis.
With their album 'World Record' getting Zane Lowe to pay them some well deserved attention
recently, they're set to make the leap from cult concern to very big deal indeed.
Liverpool's
own The Ladykillers will also perform as they keep
up the city's reputation for catchy melodies, adding some rougher, darker edges of their own, and the likes of 'Kitchen
Bound' will kick things off nicely.
Liverpool Sound City 2011 will see artists including Miles Kane, The View, Black Lips
and more in various venues across Liverpool from 19-21 May.
