Speaking to the News Of The World, he bemoaned the sound and the presence of celebrity hangers-on at
Worthy Farm.
"I hate Glastonbury. I'm never going there again. The sound is shit
and really quiet,” he said.
"And now it's like Bond Street with mud, with loads of celebrities walking
around in their boots and umbrellas. I'm not having it."
The Gallaghers and Glastonbury
have never really got on it seems, with Oasis largely failing
to fire at their performances at the festival over the years, with their last appearance there in 2004 labelled
as "one of the
most impressively poor headline performances ever seen", while brother Noel caused controversy
when he claimed letting Jay-Z headline in 2008 was "wrong".
This year's Glastonbury
is sold out, with headline performances from U2, Coldplay and Beyonce,
while Beady Eye will be performing at Liam-approved festivals
including Reading & Leeds, T In The Park and Isle Of Wight.
