Pigeon Detectives take 'secret slot' at Live At Leeds

Organisers use local press to reveal secret act to play the Cockpit this Saturday evening.

The Pigeon Detectives will play Live At Leeds 2011 as the secret act lined up for The Cockpit at 6.30pm this Saturday (April 30).

The local band, who have also been confirmed for Reading and Leeds Festivals, will also get involved with a Live At Leeds football tournament between bands, promoters and venues to be held on Monday.

Pulled Apart By Horses, Frightened Rabbit, James Blake, Aloe Blacc, and over a hundred more acts will play Live At Leeds 2011 which starts tomorrow and finishes Sunday evening with a show from Glasvegas.

The weather is looking fine and tickets are still available at £17.50 for a one day wristband to gain access to all of the festival's venues.
