Daniel Lomas - 28 April 2011
Bosses hope to improve ease of access to the site by opening doors early and will provide entertainment including a screening
of the Swedish House Mafia documentary ‘Take
One’.
Friday will also see two ‘Silent Disco’ arenas, the first of
which is hosted by Size Matters with performances from Tim Mason and Third Party, with more to be announced.
The second silent disco is hosted by That
Mixmag Thing and will feature Scratch Perverts,
Jaymo & Andy George, Brookes Brothers,
Futurebound, Clique DJs and more.
“We are delighted to be able to announce
a third day to the festival, which has been growing year on year.” A spokesperson for Creamfields 2011 said.
“Those
choosing to arrive on the Friday will not only benefit from improved access into the site, but they will be able to have the
pick of the campsites pitching closer to the arena site if they wish. It also enables people traveling long distances the
chance to pitch up earlier, saving a long journey through the night for many.”
Access to the event on
Friday is limited to those with camping tickets.
Tickets go on general sale 10am Tuesday 3 May.
Existing camping ticket holders wishing to purchase a Friday ticket for £20 (standard), £30
