Liverpool Sound City 2011 to host 'Powder' preview
World premiere among festival's film schedule

‘Powder’, from the producers of 'Awaydays', stars Liam Boyle, Alfie Allen and Ralf Little
in a rock n’ roll story, adapted from the 2000 book of the same name.
Also showing at the festival is
‘Beats of Freedom or How to Overthrow a Totalitarian Regime with the Use of a Homemade Amplifier’, a
feature about the birth and evolution of rock music in Poland in the face of the communist regime.
A documentary
about American tattooist, Norman “Sailor Jerry” Collins will also screen, titled ‘Hori Smoku Sailor
Jerry’.
Passes for Liverpool Sound City 2011 are available now at £150 which
grants holders access to all events, gigs, screenings and conferences.

As previously confirmed, Miles Kane, The View, Fucked Up and Cast
are all set to perform at the festival.
Liverpool Sound City takes place from 19-21 May at various
venues across Liverpool.
