Mr. Motivator will be keeping festival-goers fit, while King Creosote & Jon Hopkins, SL2, Foreign Beggars, Dutch Uncles, Ulrich Schnauss and Alice Russell are now all confirmed to play.

The Secret Sisters, Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer, Young Rebel Set and Chris Read complete the new artist announcements.

On the DJ front, Joy Orbison, Busy P, Mary Anne Hobbs, Benji B, Jaguar Skills, Jaymo & Andy George and Huw Stephens will be spinning tunes.

Howard Marks is set to perform a dubstep set, Modular will show off Sneaky Sound System and Bag Raiders, and further DJ stints come from Sticky, Lady Chann, Loefah, Bullion, Kirk Degiorgio, Jon Hopkins, Firas & Jay Karim and Flying White Dots.

Rounding off the new DJ announcements are Dem Rll Pls DJs, Sunday Best Forum Allstars, Prince Tribute Trio (featuring Bobby Friction, Nerm and Tayo), Johnno's Bugged Out New Years Day Set, Fragment DJs and Shepdog.

Other Bestival additions come in the shape of The Ambient Forest, where Scroobius Pip will host spoken word, The David Lynch Foundation provide meditation workshops and "leftfield music", and DJs including Tom Middleton, Chris Coco, Phil Mison and Pete Gooding will play ambient tunes.

There's also the Swamp Shack, a "ramshackle Louisiana bayou juke joint...populated by Deep South vampires", which will also host bands and DJs including "very special big name acts".

Boom Boom Club will host the Cabaret Tent on the Friday (9 September), with Frisky & Mannish, Paul Morocco, Frayed Not Circus, Adriano Fettucini, Kitty Bang Bang, Kiki Kaboom, Jessie Rose, Frank Sanazi and Michael Roulston set to appear.

Marisa Carnesky will host Sunday Night (11 September) in the Cabaret Tent with her Wunder Kabinet show.

The Countryside Centre will see Blackout Gigs, as bands perform in total darkness, and the "uninterrupted aural bliss" of Classic Album Sundays.

Bestival 2011 takes place at Robin Hill, Isle Of Wight on 8-11 September.

The Cure and Pendulum are set to headline the event.
