Virtual Festivals: Are you looking forward to playing in a cowshed?
Barry Ashworth: "It could be
worse; it could be a slaughter house."
Jason O'Bryan: "I think it'll be quite a good one actually - once people are in there. When we were pulling up it reminded me of those old style raves in a big hanger or barn."
VF: The
atmosphere has been really good in there so far. So are you going to get people partying?
JO: "I hope so, that's
the plan."
BA: "If not we may just leave, timidly."
JO: "If we get too many farmyard noises we may know we're not onto a winner."
VF: Actually the Super Furry Animals were getting people to make cow and sheep noise if
they liked it...
JO: "Well we'll be hoping for mooing then."
VF: Have you been round the site?
BA: "Yeah I've walked round the whole thing. I know the organisers personally. They've set this up from nothing;
I've got great respect for them. It's grass roots and really well put together."
JO: "Especially when you think about how hard it is organising a party at your own house, never mind a festival."
BA: "And they've got virtually no sponsorship - it's fantastic."
JO: "I'd rather play somewhere like this than say Reading Festival where it's really corporate - basically it's a big stage and loads of burger vans."
VF: Have you tried any of the food yet, the hog roast
is amazing?
BA: "Not yet, we intend to, they've got that mental local cider over there too."
