Noo from Mumm-Ra discusses conquering, getting drunk and forgetting his songs...

Virtual Festivals: You've just played the Orange Chill n Charge tent, how was that?
Noo: It was good – I chilled, I charged, I conquered and now I'm getting drunk.

VF: I heard you had a very slight technical difficulty during your set.
Noo: I don't really know what happened. I just forgot the song, confused, but I don't really know what happened. I think the PA just cut out, or something, so I just continued to play to myself that time and then it came back. It was OK, people seemed to enjoy it, they were smiling, which was good as I've never really done an acoustic set on my own before.

VF: A festival first then?
Noo: Yes, definitely.

VF: You're playing a bit later on today as well…
Noo: Yes, the full band are playing this evening.

VF: And you're pretty high up on the bill as well…
Noo: It's pretty exciting; although the higher up the bill you are the harder the competition. You get worried about that as well, we're quite close to Arcade Fire but I don't think we're at exactly the same time, thank God, but it's pretty exciting for us.

VF: Is this your first Glastonbury?
Noo: No, we've been here since 2004 so it's rained every time.
