Adam Freeland, Squarepusher, Richie Hawtin and Younger Brother are the latest additions to the underground dance festival.
Returning for its fourth outing, this year’s headliners include Trentmoller (full live band), UNKLE (Live), Derrick May, Hybrid (Live), Craig Richards and Digitalism.
An extra four stages have been added, taking the total to 12. The first is the Vapor Stage where each night is being hosted by two Detroit techno legends, yet to be confirmed. The second is The Fish Seeks Bicycle Roots Tent, an outdoor circus stage. And finally, from Nevada’s Burning Man Festival, comes the Nectar Temple, a zone dedicated to visionary arts, west coast breaks and lectures and presentations from some of the worlds foremost sociological and spiritual thinkers.
There will also be the familiar site of art projects, cabaret, performance art, circus acts and zero corporate sponsorship.
The Glade’s success since its conception has been built on the foundations laid at Glastonbury, where it carried of the unofficial title of best dance stage for several years running and was consolidated by involving some of the countries best underground dance promoters to bring their respective followings to their own festival.
Having sold out last year without even releasing its line up, this year’s tickets are expected to sell out quick. Tickets are £110 for the weekend and available HERE.
