Miles Kane interview - Reading Festival 2011
'Our show was amazing, buzzing - I was a bit surprised'
Daniel Fahey - 27 August 2011
We caught up with Miles Kane following his Reading
Festival show to talk about the show, writing new songs and which he’d prefer out of The Strokes and Pulp.
Speaking about his performance, Kane called it: “Amazing, totally buzzing. It’s probably one of the best
festivals we’ve done.”
He added: “For half one [1.30pm], we got booked a while ago,
and it was rammed out. We got a circle mosh pit […] and it kicked off. It was amazing, buzzing, I was a bit surprised.”
He also put a call out to the girls at the front of the crowd in the Radio 1/NME Tent who had made the ‘Inhaler’
signs saying: “If you’re watching girls, I want one!”
Miles Kane performed at Reading
Festival 2011 on Friday and will play Leeds
Festival 2011 today (Saturday).
