Here's a guide to how best get your hands on tickets. Now don't forget to set that alarm clock...
Those
hoping to go to the festival this June must have already completed the registration process and received their unique registration
number. You are then eligible to purchase up to four tickets for the event.
If you are buying tickets for friends
or family you must have their unique registration numbers and their surnames ready as well.
There are two ways
of buying your tickets: online or by phone. Organisers recommend that buying online is the best way to purchase tickets, but
more tickets are being made available on the phones this year.
Seetickets.com is the only Glastonbury’s
official online ticket outlet, please do not try and buy tickets from any other site. For a better chance of getting a ticket
you should make sure you have a fast broadband connection.
The number you will need to call if you’re trying
to buy over the phone is 0800 079 2008 for UK tickets.
Weekend tickets will cost £155
each as well as £5 booking fee and an additional £4 for post and packaging. Debit cards (Visa Debit, Visa Electron,
Switch/Maestro & Solo only), cheques and postal orders are the only acceptable payments.
Cheques and postal
orders must be sent within five working days to: PO BOX 9091, Nottingham, NG1 9DA. All cheques must be made
out to Glastonbury Festival 2008 Ltd.
Glastonbury Festival 2008 takes place
at Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset with Kings Of Leon, Jay-Z and The
Verve headlining, plus loads more already either self confirmed or hotly rumoured. See HERE.
The full line up will be released in early June, according to organiser Emily
Eavis.
