'Road To V' Finalists Revealed!

With V Festival less than two weeks away, the 14 finalists for this year's 'Road To V' have now been whittled down to just four. Revealed first on Channel 4 last night, if you missed it read on...

The four 'Road To V' finalists are:

The Holloways
Sunny Days Set Fire
Bombay Bicycle Club
Keith

Two bands will go on to open the Main Stage on either days at the two V Festival legs in Chelmsford and Staffs. Tune into Channel 4 at 12.30am on Wednesday night (16 August) to find out the ultimate winners!

To whittle down the thousands of original entries, Tim Burgess, of The Charlatans, Virgin Radio DJ Steve Harrison and Metropolis Music promoter, Mags, have spent hours attending gigs, listening to tracks and taking on board the comments of music fans on the 'Road To V' forums.

Steve Harrison from Virgin Radio said: "It's been a great competition with some top rate bands. The four shortlisted are all capable of opening the festival, it's just a shame they all can't."
