Follow the 'Road To V' ... on TV!

| 25 July 2006

Wednesday night. 12.30. Channel 4. Playing live...
Sunny Days Set Fire
The Pinch

'Road To V' so far... Over 4,000 bands and artists submitted their tracks via the Channel 4 website and at www.roadtov.com for their chance to open V Festival 2006.

After many long nights and slight hearing damage, a panel of experts including Tim Burgess, Virgin Radio's Steve Harris, and Metropolis Music nut, Mags, selected 14 finalists who went on to perform at the Carling Academy Islington and Liverpool. The bands were all amazing but two of them are destined for superstardom - and this is where you come in...

If you weren’t lucky enough to catch one of our Road to V Gigs, the good people at Virgin Mobile are giving you a second chance. You can see the final 14 battle it out on Channel 4 every Wednesday night for the next seven weeks, and then help choose the two winning bands who'll go on to open V's Main Stage.

By posting your reviews at www.roadtov.com or texting in your comments, you could stand the chance of winning your way to the festival. The best review will win a pair of VIP tickets plus a Virgin Mobile Motorola V3iM phone with £100 pounds of airtime, plus you get to meet and watch the winning Road To V bands from the side of the stage. The winner will be announced Thursday 10th August. Post reviews here.
