'Road To V' - Meet The 14 Finalists!

Following more than 2,000 entries, the Road To V competition just got a whole lot narrower with an expert panel shortlisting 14 finalists, one of whom will go on to play V Festival. Meet the first seven now...

Virgin Mobile's Road To V, is giving up-and-coming bands the chance to win a coveted slot performing at one of the UK's most prestigious outdoor music events of the year, V Festival.

More than 2,000 bands entered this year but only 14 remain. The shortlisted few will be featured as part of a soon-to-be-screened Channel 4 TV programme documenting their progress over the coming months - including the highs, the lows, the gigs, and the nerves - on the 'Road To V'.

The lucky shortlisted few are Adult Cinema, Bombay Bicycle Club, Hey Gravity, Mr Derry, No AV On The TV, Sunny Day Sets Fire, The deBretts, The Holloways, The Loungs, The Pinch, Yes Boss, Keith, The Immediate and Trap 6.
