Virtual Festivals at 'In The City'
United Kingdom | |
27 September 2005
In The City is Europe's largest city-based music festival and gives up
and coming bands the chance to shine in front of lots of industry big-wigs who come together to network, attend seminars,
and get hammered.
Held annually in Manchester over four days, the city becomes abuzz both day
and night while a number of music-biz conferences and live showcases featuring acts affiliated to countries, labels,
websites etc take place at various venues.
Virtual Festivals has been invited along and will be working
with our friends at Artist Rising, The Band Agency and Stylish Riots
to stage several events from Saturday to Monday at M2 and Po Na Na.
The
gigs will feature our 'Discovered!' competition winners Intervurt and Whitestar, emerging greats
Subdivine and 5 O'Clock Heroes, and the already massive Mystery Jets and
Oceansize, plus many more.
Delegates attending the conference get in free, but fear not as it's
only a measly £5 for the M2 nights or £3 for the Po Na Na gigs. Details are as follows:
