Whilst Odd Future cancel their Bestival 2011 appearance
Chris Swindells - 02 September 2011
The folk-rock troubadour who played Reading and Leeds Festivals last weekend will be playing a solo set
on Friday 9 September.
Other performers taking on the Ink City Stage on Friday
night will be Pete Lawrie, Caitlin Rose, Mazes, Asteroids,
Young Rebel Set and headliners, The King Blues.
In unrelated news OFWGKTA
(Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All) have cancelled their performance because of a court date which they
must attend. In an official statement the collective said;
"Odd Future would like to formally apologise for
being forced to cancel their performance at Bestival this year. This is due to a court date that we have been unable to move,
despite repeated attempts - we have tried everything, but unfortunately it is simply out of our control. Odd Future would
like to sincerely apologise to the festival organisers and of course, our fans – we look forward to an opportunity to
perform at Bestival in the future. Sincerely, Grandpa Wolf"
Bjork, Pendulum

which takes place at Robin Hill, Isle of Wight from 8-11 September.
