This year, the stage is set to welcome everyone from Gonjasufi and Jimmy Cliff to Chase and Status and Kool and the Gang. Dane Cobain picks five of the acts you need to catch this year...

Jimmy Cliff (Friday: 19:45 - 20:45)
At the tender age of 63, Jimmy will bring hits like ‘Sitting in Limbo’ and ‘You Can Get it if You Really Want’ to Worthy Farm. After being inducted in to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last year, the reggae star takes to the stage directly before the next two acts that VF recommends.

Chase and Status (Friday: 21:15 – 22:15)
The electronic producers have taken the world by storm and their success has continued to build in 2011. The duo have established a name for themselves on the live circuit with festival appearances all over the place including at V, T in the Park, Roskilde and Glastonbury.

Cee Lo Green (Friday: 22:45 - 23:45)
Cee Lo first came to our attention as the singer for Gnarls Barkley, but it wasn’t until he released this hit single that he became a household name. Definitely worth going to see if only for the inimitable vocals and to see that pink suit get covered in Glastonbury mud.

Aloe Blacc (Saturday: 19:45 – 20:45)
It’s been a good year for Aloe Blacc – after the success of second album ‘Good Things’ and single ‘I Need a Dollar’, he earned himself a 10/10 review from VF (http://www.virtualfestivals.com/latest/news/10115/-/First-Review-Live-At-Leeds-2011) for his performance at Live at Leeds. With two EPs and two albums to choose from, it’s just a shame that the ex-rapper only has an hour to showcase his impressive soul-inspired vocals.

Jamie Woon (Sunday: 12:45 - 13:30)
Eavis and friends dropped the ball when they gave Woon an early slot – his voice could fill stadiums and probably will do in a couple of years. Don’t miss your chance to catch him in the early afternoon while nobody else is on.

Glastonbury Festival 2011 will take place at Worthy Farm in Somerset from 22-26 June.

U2, Coldplay and Beyonce are set to headline the festival, which will also see performances from Primal Scream, The Chemical Brothers and Queens of the Stone Age.
