Keep 'em Peeled: five acts to see at the John Peel Stage
Catch The Streets, Example, more at Glastonbury!

The Streets - Sunday – 22:05–23:15
Headlining the John Peel Stage on Sunday night, Mike Skinner and friends are a great way to end your festival as they stop
off at Worthy Farm on their farewell tour. Forget Beyonce
and watch Skinner part the crowd, run down the middle and crowd-surf back to the front.
Noah and the Whale - Saturday – 19:30–20:30
The indie-folk five-piece have won our hearts with sing-along anthems like ‘5 Years Time’ and ‘L.I.F.E.
G.O.E.S. O.N.’ Ex-member Laura Marling is also making the journey to Glastonbury this summer, so watch out for a guest
appearance.
The Horrors - Saturday - 18:10–19:00
Lead
singer Faris could well be insane, but that doesn’t stop him from putting on a show. Mr. Peel was always a champion
of punk, and The Horrors
add a punk edge to gothic psychedelic rock.
Example – Friday – 21:00–22:00
The superstar hip-hopper is on at the same time as Mumford and Sons, Chase and Status and Morrissey, but don’t let
that put you off. If we’re lucky, he’ll also debut new tracks from forthcoming album ‘Playing In The Shadows’,
due for release this September.
Everything Everything – Sunday
– 16:30–17:15
Virtual Festivals’ Ones to Watch
Everything
Everything are rising stars on the live circuit thanks to their eccentric sound and determination “not to sound
like anyone else”. Intrigued? Then go and catch them on the Sunday.
Glastonbury Festival 2011 will
take place at Worthy Farm in Somerset from 22-26 June.
U2, Coldplay and Beyonce are set to headline the festival, which will also see performances
from Primal Scream, The Chemical Brothers and Queens of the Stone Age.
