Speed of Light: Is Dev aiming to be a festival Champion?

As the number of festivals across Europe increase, so to do the number of performances by the same artists. There are a number of acts who pop up again and again on festival line ups - Calvin Harris and Pigeon Detectives were among the most frequent field dwellers last year - but in 2008 it's down to one man, Lightspeed Champion .
While the likes of Foals and Joe Lean And The Jing Jang Jong
can be found at loads of festivals this year, we can almost count on our right hand the number that Lightspeed Champion
The anti-folk favourite seems to be spearheading a one-man mission to steal the Hardest Working Man In Show Business tag from the late James Brown - or is he actually going for some kind of record? We reckon he deserves one.
Not only has he re-invented himself musically since leaving his short-lived trash-punk outfit Test Icicles , but he seems to have taken the Godfather Of Soul's work ethic too. His second album is already written and is waiting to be recorded and he's toured more times than an open top bus.
Dev may be the current holder of this year's
'Festival Bike Award' with a staggering 32 festivals penned in for 2008, of which he's already done nine. He is
