Editorial: Hung up in Hyde Park
By chris_swindells on 09 February 2012
Kanye West might be hiding in Shoreditch, Jack White making a rare
Hackney appearance this June but it's been
Princess Madge taking the column inches this week. She's had the headlines and is about to have a tidy windfall,
with the announcement these will be her highest ever London ticket prices when they go on sale tomorrow (9th Feb), starting
at just £70 for a ticket to her Hyde Park
show on July 17th.
There's been another middle finger salute from Sabbath man Bill
Ward, who this week has rejected the laminated reunion contract for something altogether more 'signable'. His old band of brothers still, publicly at least, want him onboard. Even Sharon has
said as much. But it's looking increasingly unlikely
the original four will be walking out onto hallowed Donington tarmac come June.
We've had a frozen week of snow-capped
transport horror and heating woes, but it's not all bad news. Anna Hyams found out the fashion tips for a top snow festival experience, and we rank our top five to check out this spring.
Until next week.
