Having sewn itself into musical folklore with three defining festivals between 1968 and 1970 (when tickets cost £3 and around 200,000 people turned up), the event then remained dormant until 2002 when it was revived by the likes of Ash and The Charlatans.

While it may have struggled to find its identity again after 30 odd years in hibernation, the festival is now beginning to find its feet again to qualify its importance - although it's never returned to being a 5-day event.

In addition, this year The Strongbow Rooms will be in attendence, bringing a unique party spirit to proceedings with an eclectic clutch of attention demanding DJs and live acts!less

I personall felt that the festival wasn't really too overcrowded! Didn't really have to que up much at all!
