About Indian Summer 2007
In the words of the festival's creator, Paul Cardow: "The concept of Indian Summer is for you to get to watch best-loved bands in a great, laid-back setting, and also get to sample some new, breaking music that you might not have discovered otherwise. We call it a weekender because, for us and the type of music lover this appeals to, every act is an attraction. This goes for the well loved headline acts, the breaking UK acts, the more obscure or cult artists, and to a selection of US acts we predict will be entering your conciousness pretty soon. We wanted to create something that's not simply a headliner driven festival like many others, and I think people appreciated that last year. It's not some complicated grand plan though, we're driven pretty simply by daydreams of the kind of event we ourselves have always wanted to go to in Scotland."
