01 Jul 2006 - 02 Jul 2006
London Hyde Park, UK
News
Days: 2
Hyde Park Calling is a new two-day, non-camping festival taking place in London's Hyde Park with performances from legendary
stars old and new and aimed at a slightly older market than your average festival.
Arguably the highlight is the prospect
of Roger Waters reuniting with Nick Mason to perform Pink Floyd's 'The Dark Side of the Moon' in its entirety on the Saturday,
while Sunday's headliners The Who will be playing a full live set for the first time in 10 years.
Gates open at 3pm
both days with the music expected to continue until about 10.30pm.
