About Hurricane 2009

Set on the Eichenring motorcycle circuit near the town of Scheessel, Hurricane is another of Germany's favourite summer rock festivals.

Taking place in the north of the country Hurricane organisers have since given flight to Southside, a sister event at the southern extremity of the country. The two now operate as twin festivals, sharing a thundering rock line-up over the same weekend every year.

With Kings of Leon, The Wombats and German favourites Die Arzte already confirmed for this year's event, the 70,000 that usually fill the site look set to return for another three days fun.

Priced at €111, weekend tickets will include parking and camping. International flights run to Hamburg Airport, about 85km north-east of the festival site while the town of Scheessel is on the German national rail network.
