About Highfield 2009
Highfield is the biggest indie rock festival in Germany.
This year's event is going to be the last at the current
site, a stunning like-side venue in the east of the country.
25,000 punters are expected once more for the 2009 edition.
With bands like Arctic Monkeys, Deftones and Die Toten Hosen down to play as well as a few quirky genres such as Balkan disco
and Mexican ska it is set to be an indie-cracker.
Camping is available for those with a three day pass while a number
of stalls, activities and chill out zones will be accessible to all.
Erfurt Hauptbanhof station is the closest to the
festival site with two public buses running between the two.
