About Heineken Open'er Festival 2009
The Heineken Open'er is one of Poland's largest festivals and offers what can only be described as the complete package.
The
site, just outside Gydnia on the Baltic coast provides sand, sea and sun together with a dedicated space for sporting activities
together with cinemas, theatres and other multimedia based fun. Gastronomic delights will also be available in abundance.
Above
all though, in excess of 100 acts are set to play across the four stages with the festival expanding to four days for 2009.
The Sex Pistols, Massive Attack and The Chemical Brothers played last year so expect artists of a similar calibre this time
round.
Some of Poland's brightest young stars will also be present on a bill that will take in the best in rock, hip-hop
and dance.
Gydnia is just down the coast from Gdansk whose international airport (Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport) serves
many European destinations. It is also a major ferry port with connections to Scandinavia.
