Held at the top of a mountain called the Gurten, the annual Gurtenfestival takes place in Berne, Switzerland each July for
three days. The popular festival has an eclectic mixture of rock, pop and hip hop.The festival first began in 1977 - the year of punk and has since seen performances from the likes of Bob Dylan, Al Green, The Cure and Basement Jaxx so expect more international stars in 2008.
