About Green Man Festival 2009
Since its inception as a one-day bash in 2003, Green Man Festival has spent the last five years carving itself into a delectably
intimate folk and rock event hidden in Wales' Brecon Beacons.
Now a non-corporate and ethically-minded three-day festival,
Green Man has a loyal 10,000 strong following for the best psychedelic folk, rock and folktronica on the planet.
Run
by musicians, the artists picked to perform are first class with Super Furry Animals, Laura Marling and Robert Planet echoing
around the valley in the past.
There are also DJs playing through the night, independent films and workshops to entertain
the masses and a wide selection of organic food and real ales to keep them fuelled as well.
Camping is available over
the weekend. Children under 11 get in free.
