This two-day dance behemoth returns in 2009 with the world's best DJs alongside an eclectic line-up of live acts. The Long Marston, Stratford Upon Avon event is expecting 50,000 festival-goers to attend over the weekend.

Kanye West and Mark Ronson took care of live proceedings at last year's Global while the likes of Teisto, Sasha, 2 Many DJs and Erick Morillo spun the tunes - expect names of a similar calibre this time around.

Friday has the eclectic live acts performing across over arenas from around 5pm until 2am. Then the dance dons grab their headphones and pump out tunes on the ones and twos all through Saturday until dawn.

Away from the music Global 2009 will have an adrenaline village with a bungee jump and other extreme rides, a fairground, and a chill out village for ravers who need a break from the beats.

New for 2009 will be Godskitchen's 'Boombox'- a futuristic DJ platform that marries audio with next generation visuals. There will also be a dubstep terrace, M-Nus Floor Arena and a Fantazia outdoor terrace - set to bring Ibiza to Stratford Upon Avon.
