About Glastonbudget 2011
Glastonbudget, the Mecca of Tribute, is now in its 7th year and saw more than 5,000 fans cram-in to see more than 130 amazing
bands play 6 stages in May of 2010 . This year's extravaganza of Europe's best tribute bands and New Acts will be even better
and see around 10,000 music lovers attend.
Now into its seventh year, Glastonbudget, as the name suggests, is a well
established tribute and new act festival weekend which should not be missed! The festival takes place at Turnpost Farm Wymeswold
in Leicestershire and rivals any of the bigger festivals in true tribute style.
It all started in 2005, when organisers
gathered 18 of the top tribute bands from around Europe and put together one hell of a weekend. Since then it has grown and
grown and is now the biggest and best tribute and new music festival in Europe. This year, Glastonbudget will be even bigger
& better still, offering even better value for money than ever before!
It now also includes over 130 new acts from
not only the UK but around the world, and a wide range of alternative entertainment. All in all, it makes for a cracking weekend!
Everything
from the curries to the cocktail bar, from the bands to the bars - its all tip top!
Many people consistently comment
on how well the event is organised, how much of a friendly, community atmosphere is created and how near total strangers became
part of the most friendly music loving festival that people had ever witnessed.
You wont pay booking fees on ticket
purchase and you wont pay for car-parking, either! In fact, this year you won't even pay more than 50p for a hot drink! The
organisers have worked very closely with their food concessions, who will be bringing you fixed price meal deals for the first
time this year!
Glastonbudget Music Festival 2011 takes place at Turnpost Farm in Wymeswold, Leicestershire on May
27th, 28th and 29th, 2011.
