About Glade Festival 2008
After spending five years as the renegade dance tent at Glastonbury, the Glade Festival decided to pack its beats and breakaway
as its own multi-genre dance event.
Since taking the decision the festival has expanded to 12 main arenas including an
outdoor stage.
Live acts and DJs are both booked for the electronic event which houses a spectrum of dance shoot-offs
including break, psy trance, techno, breakcore, rave, jungle and a chill out area too, if it all gets too much.
The
festival has a completely corporate-free feel but still manages to bring in some of dance's biggest names and cutting edge
mixoligists such as Digitalism, UNKLE, Krafty Kuts and Plump DJs who have all performed in recent years.
