After over coming the teething problems of its inaugural event, Field Day festival returns to London's Victoria Park with
twice the amount of bars and toilets it had in 2007.
Bugged Out! Adventures In The Beetroot Field and Eat Your Own
Ears are helping to curate and host the event which means a stellar line-up of alternative bands and fresh DJ talent for the
'psychedelic summer fete.'
Field Day is an intimate affair with a capacity of 5000, but it manages to haul in four
main stages and tents of music with the park's bandstand in use too. Away from the music there will be wellie throwing, Morris
dancing, a coconut shy, Ceiledh, tug of war and more offbeat activities.
